BAT KUWAIT IS LOOKING FOR HR ASSOCIATE

LOCATION: Kuwait

JOB TITLE: HR Associate

FUNCTION: Human Resource

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

The HR Associate at BAT Kuwait will support HR operations and contribute to the smooth execution of HR processes across the organization. This role will focus on providing administrative support, assisting with HR policies and compliance, managing employee records, and ensuring effective onboarding, offboarding, and internal movements. The HR Associate will collaborate with key stakeholders to enhance employee engagement, support talent planning, and ensure HR systems are maintained accurately.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  • The HR Associate will play a key role in supporting HR operations across the Gulf (Qatar, Kuwait, UAE, and Bahrain), ensuring the smooth execution of HR processes and initiatives in alignment with business needs.
  • Act as a point of contact for HR-related queries, providing administrative and operational support to employees and managers across all Gulf markets.
  • Assist the HRBP in implementing HR policies, ensuring compliance, and preparing reports to support decision-making.
  • Support on documentation and liaise with PROs to facilitate smooth onboarding, internal movements, and offboarding processes across the Gulf.
  • Ensure all relevant departments (IT, Admin, Payroll, Facilities, etc.) are informed of JML updates in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee changes and ensure compliance with local labor regulations.
  • Work closely with the HRBP to forecast and plan the talent pipeline based on business needs.
  • Actively contribute to employee engagement initiatives to enhance workplace culture and morale.
  • Ensure HR systems and databases are updated with accurate employee information.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in HR coordination, operations, or a generalist role.
  • Strong understanding of HR systems and processes, with the ability to maintain and update HR databases accurately.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
