Network Administrators work in a team environment on routine maintenance tasks and provide solutions to more complex issues. They troubleshoot network problems, outages, and anomalies, gathering pertinent information and coordinating with related work centers or sites. Knowledge of sub-netting, switching, and Cisco IOS is essential. NAs should have a background in network security procedures and be responsible for reporting anomalies.

This position offers company-paid housing and transportation, a completion bonus, and a tuition reimbursement program.

You must satisfy all host country requirements to legally work in the host country to qualify for this position.

Responsibilities

  1. Oversee maintenance and operations of switches, routers, and encryption devices.
  2. Monitor availability and reliability of LAN/WAN systems.
  3. Troubleshoot LAN/WAN connectivity issues.
  4. Provide technical support for VoIP networks.
  5. Report outages and corrective actions to relevant authorities.
  6. Resolve customer/user issues.
  7. Manage VLAN configurations and ACLs.
  8. Use Spectrum and other tools to manage the network.
  9. Plan network development and expansion.
  10. Maintain knowledge of sub-netting, switching, Cisco IOS, and train new personnel.
  11. Enforce network security procedures, including DISA STIG compliance.
  12. Perform other duties and administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • Active Secret Security Clearance required.
  • Associate Degree in IT or related field preferred; relevant experience may substitute for education.
  • Adherence to DoD 8570.01M baseline certifications is required, with at least one baseline and one CE certification.
  • Eligible certifications include Cisco CCNA Security, CCNP Security, CompTIA CASP+, CySA+, Security+, GIAC GCED, GCIH, GICSP, GSEC, ISACA CISA, ISC2 CISSP or SSCP, and various Cisco CCIE and CCNP certifications.
  • Minimum of two years of networking experience.
