Pricing Analyst

Purpose: Under general supervision from APS-5 Program Management personnel, support activities associated with the development of cost/price proposals.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Analyzes solicitations to determine proposal requirements.
2. Supports APS-5 Program Management personnel in conducting pricing strategy meetings.
3. Interfaces with Operations, Business Development and Functional Support groups to obtain/develop data necessary for developing prices or other components of a cost/price volume.
4. Supports APS-5 Program Management personnel in the development of all required cost proposals, including overtime proposals, Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates and full complex cost/price proposals. Support involves cost model development, cost narrative writing and assistance with other cost/price volume requirements.
5. Ensures cost/price proposals are developed in accordance with the Company Pricing Guide and other policies and procedures.
6. Assumes responsibility as the Cost Volume Manager for cost/price proposals of limited complexity.
7. Supports APS-5 Program Management personnel in conducting internal proposal reviews (Pink/Red Teams, Sign Offs, etc.), as needed.
8. Performs quality assurance reviews to ensure that cost/price proposal components are accurate and responsive to solicitation requirements.
9. Receives and maintains required level of training for all Amentum pricing delegates.
10. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Education:

1. Bachelor's degree in a related field required; however, a combination of work experience and education may be considered in lieu of college degree.

Experience:

1. Three (3) or more years of proposal pricing or financial experience is required. Additional education may be substituted for experience or additional experience may be substituted for education.

Specialized Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

1. Must have working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
2. Must have excellent writing skills, as well as spreadsheet and word processing skills.
3. Must have notable organizational skills and the ability to perform detail-oriented work.
4. Must possess excellent communication and analytical skills.

Certification, License & Clearance:

1. U.S. Citizenship required.
2. T1 NACI required.

Facility credentials/authorization required: Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. Note: U.S. Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location.

Work Environment, Physical Demands & Mental Demands:

1. Ability to perform job duties efficiently and effectively.
2. Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.
3. Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
4. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
