Job Overview

We're seeking a passionate and dedicated Bakery Assistant to join our growing team at Gluten Free Collective. This role is ideal for someone who loves baking, is eager to learn about gluten-free products, and wants to contribute to a mission-driven company making a positive impact on people's lives.

This position is urgently vacant and needs to be filled as soon as possible. Priority will be given to candidates with good English-speaking skills and a strong willingness to learn.

Working in a gluten-free bakery is unique and different from conventional baking, so having an open mindset to learn is essential.

Responsibilities

  1. Assist in the preparation and baking of various gluten-free products, focusing on our signature bread line.
  2. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
  3. Help package and prepare orders for delivery.
  4. Assist in inventory management and restocking of ingredients.
  5. Support the team with tasks related to our subscription service and product line.
  6. Work different shifts based on business needs. Schedule: 9 hours per day (including a 1-hour break) with one fixed day off.
  7. Bake :)

Qualifications

  1. Passion for baking and interest in gluten-free cooking.
  2. Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
  3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  5. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  6. Previous bakery or food service experience is a plus but not required.
  7. Knowledge of or personal experience with gluten-free diets is beneficial.
  8. Strong spoken English and willingness to learn are essential.
  9. Must have a valid Health Card.
