The Company:

Awarding winning multi branded fashion retailer with over 500 stores throughout the Gulf region is now looking at further expansion of one key brand in Kuwait and seeking to appoint an Area Sales Manager to look after the locally based stores.

Job Description:

• Reporting to the Brand Manager you will be tasked with leading multiple stores throughout Kuwait.

• Recruitment, training and leadership of store managers - supporting the store managers in achieving their goals is a key emphasis on the role.

• Setting the annual budgets and store targets, KPI's.

• Work with marketing to ensure strong promotional activities and marketing campaigns based on seasonality promotions.

• Managing performance of the stores, sales against budgets, wages, expenses.

• Oversee the merchandising, store standards, consistency of customer service & store design layout.

• Regular head office reporting on performance, issues and solutions.

• Regular store visits and coaching of the teams.

• Driving exceptional customer service experience through your teams.

Skills Required:

• Minimum of 4 years Area Management / Retail Operations Management experience in either retail fashion, cosmetics, footwear, department stores with well recognised brands.

• Must have proven experience of managing multiple store locations ie. Area Manager or Operations Manager in Kuwait with proven results in achieving targets.

• Strong understanding of Middle East retailing – preference for an Arabic / English speaker.

• Excellent work ethic, strong leadership qualities and a focused team player are critical attributes.

• Strong people management, fiscal & budget preparation, good computer skills in Excel, Word are prerequisites.

• Ability to work in a multi cultural team and appreciation of other cultures & values.
