Job Opening: Head of Enterprise Architecture - Payment/Fintech Domain

We have an urgent requirement for a Head of Enterprise Architecture in the Payment/Fintech domain with our client based in Kuwait.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement enterprise architecture strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Lead and guide a team of architects, providing mentorship and support.
  • Collaborate with business and IT leaders to optimize technology investments.
  • Establish architecture governance to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies for potential business impact.
  • Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date architecture documentation.
  • Assess and manage risks related to architecture and IT investments.
  • Lead large-scale digital transformation initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate payment solutions organization-wide.
  • Evaluate and recommend payment technologies, ensuring industry standards and compliance.
  • Foster relationships with external partners to enhance strategic alliances.
Minimum Requirements:
  • 15+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, with a focus on designing, managing, and implementing EA and payment systems.
  • Deep understanding of payment systems, gateways, regulations, fraud detection, and transaction monitoring.
  • Strong knowledge of IT landscape, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, API integration, microservices, and security frameworks.
  • Enterprise Architecture Certifications: TOGAF, ZACHMAN, or Certified Business Architect (any one).
  • Additional certifications such as CBAP, IIBA Agile Business Analyst, PCI DSS, CISSP, or FinTech are advantageous.
Educational Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or Accounting.
  • Master's Degree in MSc/Information Technology or Information Systems preferred.

  • Ability to build networks, foster partnerships, and assess cultural fit.
