Senior Training Officer

To plan, design, coordinate, and deliver the respective training programs in alignment with organization's HR and business strategy.

Technical:

  • Coordinate, develop, and create training programs in line with targeted requirements.
  • Provide training programs that address business and personnel requirements.
  • Conduct orientation sessions and arrange on-the-job training for new hires.
  • Develop metrics of measuring the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Participate in the staff development programs, using knowledge of the effectiveness of methods such as classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, meetings, conferences, and workshops.
  • Conduct needs analysis studies to analyze training needs and develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs in coordination with the HR management and department heads.
  • Coach and mentor, providing clear feedback and follow through to enforce and reinforce changes in performance.
  • Establish and maintain an effective working relationship with department heads and managers throughout the company.
  • Monitor staff performance by liaising with line managers and department heads.
  • Supervise and monitor progress made via training programs or schemes.
  • Assist in the creation of the yearly training calendar.
  • Coordinate and schedule trainings with suppliers and third parties.
  • Assist the respective party in preparation, booking, quotations, etc., of the training programs.

Job Requirements:

A. Education

  • College or University Graduate (preferable higher level of education MBA, etc.).

B. Professional Experience

  • From five (5) to eight (8) years' experience within the training field as related to soft skills and preferable within the luxury retail field.
  • Proficiency in MS Office packages such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet and data research and interpretation.
  • Knowledge of computerized information systems used in human resources applications.
  • Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Competent in organizational development and employee relations.
  • Proficiency in both Arabic and English languages.
  • Physically and mentally fit for the job.

D. Required Licenses/Certifications

  • Technical Training Certificates / licenses.
  • Training programs certification in the retail field.

E. Training Requirements

  • Refer to TNA (Training Needs Analysis).
