We are working with a prestigious law firm in Kuwait seeking a talented and motivated Senior Corporate Lawyer to join their growing advisory team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious lawyer with a strong background in corporate & M&A law to work on a diverse range of international and domestic matters, advising high-profile clients in various sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising clients on local and international corporate matters, mergers, demergers, take-overs, including structuring, planning, and compliance.
- Drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and corporate-related documents.
- Assisting with audits, assessments, and due diligence.
- Working alongside senior lawyers to provide strategic advice to corporate clients, multinationals, and high-net-worth individuals.
- Developing and maintaining client relationships, offering proactive solutions and business development ideas.
Key Requirements:
- A Law Degree (LLB or equivalent) from a recognized university; additional qualifications in taxation or corporate law are a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in tax law, with a strong focus on corporate advisory.
- Strong understanding of Kuwaiti and GCC laws, regulations, and treaties.
- Experience working in a reputable law firm or an in-house legal team within a multinational corporation is highly desirable.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus though NOT essential).
- A proactive and client-focused approach to legal practice.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
