Job Description

As a Domain Specialist in the Digital Business Unit for Oil & Gas, you will serve as a subject matter expert, aligning Sensia's digital technologies with customer needs and industry standards. You will support sales opportunities, guide solution design, contribute to product innovation, and ensure successful project execution. Your expertise will help shape our offerings to maximize value for clients and establish Sensia as a leader in digital oilfield solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide domain expertise to guide technology development that creates value.
  • Support pursuit teams by clarifying the value of solutions for customers.
  • Participate in industry associations, create case stories, and author white papers to enhance Sensia's domain image.
  • Oversee project team solution configurations, ensuring correct application settings (set points, ranges, alarms, control logic).
  • Engage in client meetings, perform demos, and support sales activities.
  • Contribute to IP development, including strategy setting and patent participation to differentiate Sensia solutions.
The Individual
  • Minimum 10 years of engineering experience in a relevant discipline.
  • Hands-on field experience in Oil & Gas applications within a relevant discipline.
  • Bachelor's degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, process-driven environment.
  • Excellent documentation and attention to detail.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of commercial and business dynamics in the energy sector.
