Hiring HSE Engineer for Oil and Gas Industry
We are seeking a seasoned Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will lead health, safety, and environmental initiatives across oil & gas and cryogenic facilities.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a multinational team, implementing and managing robust HSE systems, conducting safety audits and risk assessments, leading incident investigations, and ensuring full regulatory and standards compliance.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enforce HSE plans, emergency response procedures, and safety standards.
- Conduct and lead risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.
- Drive QRA/HAZOP/HAZAN studies and implement resulting action plans.
- Deliver HSE training and awareness programs across operations and maintenance teams.
- Bridge multinational safety standards with on-site operational practices.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Oil & Gas industry HSE roles, including experience in cryogenic facility operations. They should also have a good understanding of maintenance and O&M contracts, preferably with refinery operations.
Qualifications and Certifications:
- Full-time Bachelor's degree in Engineering is a must.
- MUST hold at least one certified HSE qualification (e.g. NEBOSH, ISO45001 lead auditor, iCertOSH, ADIS, CSP, CEP).
- Preferred: CSP, CMIOSH; ISO9001 / ISO14001 / OHSAS18001 lead auditor certified; QRA/HAZOP/HAZAN training.
