Role Overview

Our Marketing Specialist will represent Calo in local communities, building relationships that bring our mission of making healthy eating easier to life. You'll manage affiliates and brand ambassadors, organize on-the-ground activations, and secure strategic partnerships (gyms, yoga studios, supplement brands, weight-loss centres, etc.) to strengthen Calo's presence and engagement in Kuwait. By creating a strong network of supporters, micro-influencers, and business partners, you'll help position Calo as the go-to meal solution for anyone pursuing a healthy lifestyle.

Main Responsibilities

Affiliate Program Management

  1. Research & Onboard Affiliates: Identify individuals and organizations aligned with our brand values
  2. Performance Tracking: Monitor affiliate metrics, optimize campaigns, and provide regular feedback to ensure ROI
  3. Relationship Building: Maintain open communication, support affiliates' promotional efforts, and celebrate top performers

Micro-Influencer & Brand Ambassador Initiatives

  1. Identify & Engage: Source local community influencers and health enthusiasts who embody Calo's healthy living ethos
  2. Collaborations & Campaigns: Design content briefs, set goals (e.g., conversions, brand reach), and guide influencers to ensure brand alignment
  3. Ongoing Advocacy: Cultivate genuine, long-term relationships so ambassadors remain passionate, authentic advocates for Calo

On-Ground Activations & Events

  1. Plan & Execute: Organize pop-ups, tastings, community gatherings, and other experiential events that bring Calo closer to customers
  2. Collaboration with Local Groups: Partner with gyms, yoga studios, sports clubs, or community centers to host joint events that spotlight healthy eating
  3. Seamless Logistics: Oversee event details (venue, setup, marketing collateral) to reflect brand identity and deliver a memorable user experience

Strategic Brand Partnerships

  1. Identify Potential Allies: Target a wide range of health-focused entities—nutrition clinics, supplement companies, corporate wellness programs—to expand Calo's market footprint
  2. Negotiate Win-Win Deals: Align partnership goals and define mutual benefits (co-branded offers, referral programs, exclusive discounts)
  3. Ongoing Relationship Management: Maintain regular check-ins, track partnership performance, and explore new collaboration avenues to amplify impact

Community Engagement & Relationship Building

  1. Foster a Strong Network: Build trust and positive relationships with community leaders, partner representatives, and local influencers to widen Calo's support base
  2. Act as Brand Representative: Attend relevant meetups, expos, or health-focused seminars, showcasing Calo's offerings and mission

Data & Reporting

  1. Monitor Campaign Success: Track KPIs (acquisition rates, event participation, affiliate-driven revenue, etc.) to gauge effectiveness
  2. Use Insights to Refine Strategy: Adjust targeting, messaging, or collaborator selections based on real-time data, aligning activities with broader marketing goals
  3. Regular Updates: Provide concise reports to the Marketing Lead, highlighting wins, challenges, and next steps
Ideal Candidate

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
  2. 2 - 4 years of experience in community management, partnerships, or influencer marketing. F&B or wellness industry a plus
  3. Exceptional communication and writing skills in both English and Arabic

Knowledge, Competency, and Personality

  1. Comfortable reaching out, pitching ideas, and finding mutual benefits with diverse partners
  2. Able to plan small to mid-scale events—managing logistics, budgets, and creative details
  3. Familiar with tracking affiliate performance, influencer ROI, and community engagement metrics
  4. Sociable, proactive, and empathetic in dealing with brand ambassadors, community groups, and partners
  5. Deeply understands Kuwaiti consumer behaviours and health trends
  6. Can juggle multiple campaigns or relationships simultaneously without dropping the ball
  7. Collaborative team player who can also work independently, take initiative, set priorities, and stay organized while meeting deadlines with attention to detail
  8. Passionate about healthy living, sharing Calo's mission to make healthy eating accessible and inspiring others
