Position Overview
Based at ABA in Kuwait, in order to further strengthen our team, we are currently seeking:
The Academy Coordinator, based at ABA Kuwait, will be responsible for supporting the Director and Chefs in managing the academy's daily operations, courses, and events. This role involves handling administrative tasks, coordinating training programs, and ensuring seamless logistics for workshops and masterclasses.
Key Accountabilities
- Course and Workshop Coordination: Plan, organize, and schedule courses, workshops, and masterclasses. Ensure all resources, materials, and facilities are available for smooth execution.
- Customer Relationship Management: Act as the point of contact for participants, handling inquiries, registrations, confirmations, and feedback.
- Marketing and Promotion Support: Collaborate with marketing teams to promote academy activities through social media, newsletters, and digital platforms.
- Event Execution: Manage on-site logistics during academy events, ensuring seamless execution and positive participant experiences.
- Financial Administration: Monitor budget allocation for academy events and courses, manage invoicing, and track expenses to ensure adherence to financial guidelines.
- Reporting: Prepare reports on course participation, attendee feedback, and financial performance to provide actionable insights to the Director.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate and updated records of participant information, course schedules, and attendance in the learning management system.
- Supplier and Vendor Coordination: Source and liaise with vendors for event materials, catering, and service requirements for academy events.
- Quality Control: Support chefs in maintaining the highest quality standards for bakery and pastry sessions.
- Innovation and Improvement: Provide suggestions for continuous improvement of processes, participant experience, and course offerings.
Who are we looking for?
- 1-3 years of Admin-Support experience.
- Bachelor degree in food science or related field.
- Analytical with very good communication/commercial skills.
- Has a basic applied knowledge and/or interest for food ingredients and applications
- Excellent communication, resilient and result-oriented.
- Should have good planning and organizational skills.
- Should be multitasking, and able to perform under stress and meet deadlines.
- Should have analytical skills to properly manage the department's data.
- Should be a great team work oriented.
