Job Description

Front Office Receptionist

First impressions matter As a Front Office Receptionist, you will greet guests from arrival to departure, ensuring they have a memorable experience with us.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Manage night shifts on a rotational basis, ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes
  • Perform night audit procedures, accurately recording all financial transactions
  • Monitor hotel security, coordinate with security personnel, and handle emergencies
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards
  • Conduct night shift handovers and communicate key details to the morning team
  • Manage room availability, late check-outs, and early arrivals
  • Assist in resolving operational issues during the night
  • Handle guest feedback and escalate issues when necessary
  • Perform administrative tasks such as updating reports, managing emails, and tracking guest preferences
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance for urgent room issues
  • Maintain a professional and welcoming atmosphere at the front desk
  • Greet guests, manage check-ins, respond to requests, and settle accounts with exceptional service
  • Take initiative to personalize guest experiences
  • Promote hotel facilities and look for opportunities to upsell to enhance guest stays
Qualifications

Ideal candidates will have:

  • A service-oriented personality
  • Experience in hospitality (preferred)
  • Experience with Opera or similar systems (preferred)
  • Fluency in English
  • Additional languages are a plus
