Position: MENA Event Manager (fixed term contract)

Employer: Employment with Digital Future Middle East FZ-LLC, working directly as a consultant / contractor with Google FZ-LLC.
As an Event Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting, planning, and executing Google's key external events. You should be a flexible team player, capable of adapting to a dynamic environment with evolving requirements. A solid understanding of event production fundamentals and experience working with event organizers, agencies, and various management levels are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Google's cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, PR, etc.), external vendors, and agencies to ensure successful event execution.
- Utilize technical judgment and operational experience to manage the entire project lifecycle: proposal, requirements gathering, planning, execution, and closeout.
- Provide operational support to ensure the success of events.
- Develop and implement scalable processes and internal policies for event support.
- Coordinate with stakeholders responsible for high-visibility events involving Google executives, product launches, developer conferences, and media-covered events.
Minimum Qualifications (MQs):
- 2-3 years of experience in a business function such as marketing, sales, or PR.
- Experience in event management on the client or agency side.
- At least 3 years of project management experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications (PQs):
- Knowledge of digital and content marketing.
