Kuwait Airways is actively recruiting for the position of Engineer I, Reliability in the Engineering department. In this role, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Basic Function and Scope:
Oversees and participates in the monitoring, recording, and analyzing of reliability parameters. Establishes alert values and proposes adjustments whenever necessary to the Reliability Control Committee (RCC) for improvement of KAC fleet efficiency.

Tasks and Duties:

  1. Provides technical assistance, advice, and direction to other Reliability Engineers in the unit over their work activities.
  2. Studies all available technical information such as manufacturers' service letters, in-service activity reports, advisory circulars from regulatory agencies, technical tidbits issued by manufacturers, airline's significant service problems summary, airline conference minutes, and fleet performance reports of other airlines, to note and absorb salient information applicable to KAC aircraft.
  3. Periodically scrutinizes technical logs and work sheets to gather information on defects, delays, and incidents, and vets component removals and strip reports.
  4. Analyzes collected data from various sources to evolve corrective action wherever applicable for presentation to the Reliability Control Committee.
Requirements
  1. Candidate must be a Kuwaiti National.
  2. B.Sc. in Aeronautical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Electrical/Electronics Engineering OR Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Double Licenses) with equivalent technical knowledge.
  3. 6 years' airline engineering reliability experience (Civil aircraft).
