POSITION SUMMARY: Amentum is seeking a Pool Operations Lead (POL) for ISS (Installation Support Services) functions at Ali Al Salem in Kuwait. The POL will operate the swimming pool, bath houses, pump house, and develop water sports programs. Additional duties will be assigned by the Recreation Manager, Site Manager, or Program leadership in accordance with international, US, Air Force, PWS criteria, and other industry standards.

WORK SCHEDULE: The POL must be available to work 24/7.

BASIC FUNCTION SUMMARY:

  • Engage with and encourage participation in programs and events
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, healthy, professional, safe, and secure environment
  • Develop water sports programs
  • Encourage and coordinate with volunteers at events
  • Support supervisory duties as assigned
  • Perform other duties as directed or outlined in PWS
  • Complete all supporting documentation and reporting in compliance with applicable standards

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain facility credentials; US citizenship required
  • Minimum 1 year experience in recreation and fitness programs, preferably on a US military installation
  • High school diploma or GED
  • One year experience in a leadership role
  • Experience in an austere OCONUS environment with a multi-national workforce
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and customer service skills
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • US citizenship, valid US or local driver's license, US passport
  • Ability to pass medical requirements and maintain them during deployment
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance; US citizenship required

OTHER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Experience providing excellent customer service
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and meet deadlines

WORKING AND LIVING CONDITIONS: The position may involve exposure to harsh and extreme environments. Physical activities may include heavy lifting, climbing, crawling, and outdoor work. Ability to lift and carry 40 pounds for extended periods is required.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Safety: Maintain a safe work environment, complete training, participate in emergency response, and serve on safety teams.
  • Quality: Deliver services meeting customer expectations, comply with quality policies and standards.
  • Procedure Compliance: Understand and implement operational, safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
