This position is physically located in Kuwait in support of LOGCAP.
Under the guidance of the Quality Engineer/Supervisor, the Quality Coordinator II is responsible for managing the daily database of Audit Checklists, ICAR/NCR & CAPs for the program.
ResponsibilitiesThis description is subject to change as needed to meet program or company requirements.
- Maintain the audit, ICAR/NCR & corrective action database.
- Assist process owners in corrective actions for non-conformances.
- Help develop and implement processes to encourage process improvement initiatives.
- Support operational areas in documenting processes, creating desk top guides, and managing quality records according to program requirements.
- Oversee the implementation of quality standards, programs, and processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Stay informed on new developments, technologies, and processes.
- Continuously improve performance using key performance indicators.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and supervision to assigned personnel. Assist in resolving work problems.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- ISO 9001:2015 Auditor certification or ability to obtain.
- Valid Driver's License; ability to acquire a Kuwait Driver's License.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of operations experience; quality experience preferred.
- Experience with Project Management Institute practices (PMP, CAPM, Prince 2, Agile) and DoD contracts is a plus.
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Maximo, Power BI.
- Logical and critical thinking skills for applying quality practices.
- Ability to develop document control and process documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
Work primarily in an office setting with outdoor duties involving extreme climatic conditions, including dust storms and high temperatures. Exposure to chemical or biological agents may occur. PPE use is mandatory in certain areas. Must adhere to all safety policies. Standard work week is 48 hours, with potential for overtime and night shifts.
Physical ActivitiesWork involves lifting up to 25 lbs., stooping, climbing, and prolonged standing or sitting. PPE is required in specific areas. Compliance with OSHA, EPA, Fire, Safety Regulations, and company policies is mandatory.
