Summary/ Objective

Managing the finance of the company which involves planning, taking significant decisions relating to the financial health of the company, making strategies, and managing finance activities including budgeting, forecasting expenses, and mitigating financial risks for sustainable growth with overall supervision of the finance and accounts team and the employees.

Job Duties:

Essential Functions

  1. Providing leadership, direction, and management of the Finance and Accounting team.
  2. Oversee the month-end close process, constantly reviewing procedures while eliminating inefficiencies.
  3. Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  4. Periodical reviews of all month-end closing activities including general ledger accounts, balance sheet accounts, and Opex.
  5. Continuously enhance & implement financial and accounting systems, processes, tools, and control systems.
  6. Ensuring adequate operation of Receivables & Payables Functions, adhering to contractual obligations and business agreements.
  7. Manage annual Budgeting cycles and prepare the needed financial modeling and presentation decks to convey the forecasted company financial position and profitability.
  8. Responsible for the Financial Reporting of the company and ensuring accuracy and adequacy of the way it is displayed.
  9. Assess and evaluate financial performance of the organization with regards to long-term operational goals, budgets, and forecasts. Subsequently, providing strategic financial recommendations to the CEO/Managing Director and members of the executive management team.
  10. Providing a financial adequacy analysis of current or proposed business products to ensure optimum profitability is achieved.
  11. Ensuring optimum liquidity is maintained and sourcing of additional funding if needed.
  12. Establishing and developing relations with external partners and stakeholders to help the company operate with efficiency and achieve targeted goals.
  13. Manage Internal Expense Policy and ensure proper guidelines are put into place, proper approvals are attained, and that it is applied during operation.
