The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Resident Engineer to lead consultancy services for the operation and maintenance (O&M) of a wastewater treatment plant project based in Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project execution, ensuring high-quality service delivery, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the consultancy services for the O&M of the wastewater treatment plant.
  • Oversee project execution, ensuring alignment with contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Coordinate with clients, government agencies, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor and assess plant performance, providing technical guidance for process optimization and efficiency improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and risk assessments.
  • Supervise and mentor project teams, ensuring high-performance standards.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering (or a related field).
  • 15+ years of experience in site supervision, preferably in wastewater treatment or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, O&M best practices, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale infrastructure projects, preferably in the Middle East.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management qualifications are highly desirable.
