Network Administrators work in a team environment on routine maintenance tasks as well as provide customers with solutions to more complex issues. They troubleshoot network problems, outages, anomalies, and are responsible for gathering all pertinent information about issues and coordinating related work centers or sites. Knowledge of sub-netting, switching, and Cisco IOS is essential. NAs should have a background and be knowledgeable in network security procedures and report all pertinent information about anomalies on the network.

This position offers company-paid housing and transportation, a completion bonus, and tuition reimbursement program. You must satisfy all host country requirements to legally work in the host country to be qualified for this position.

Responsibilities

  1. Oversee maintenance and operations of switches, routers, and encryption devices.
  2. Monitor availability and reliability of LAN/WAN systems.
  3. Troubleshoot LAN/WAN connectivity issues.
  4. Provide technical support for VoIP networks.
  5. Report outages and corrective actions to relevant authorities.
  6. Resolve customer interface/user issues.
  7. Manage VLANs and ACL configurations.
  8. Use Spectrum and other tools to manage and administer the network.
  9. Plan network development and expansion.
  10. Enforce network security procedures, including DISA STIG Compliance.
  11. Perform administrative tasks and other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Active Secret Security Clearance required.
  • Associate Degree in IT or related field preferred; relevant experience may substitute for education.
  • Adherence to DoD 8570.01M with at least one baseline and one CE certification listed (e.g., CCNA Security, Security+, CISSP, etc.).
  • Minimum of two (2) years of networking experience.
