- Provide a focus and a sense of direction to the e-com employees and management.
- Ensure enforcement and adaptation of corporate values and vision.
- Establish and carry out the e-com's goals, policies, and procedures.
- Manage general activities related to providing organizational services.
- Consult with other executives, staff, and team members about general operations and administrative activities.
- Direct and manage the e-com's financial and budgetary activities.
- Analyze financial statements, reports, and other performance indicators and provide feedback and recommendations.
- Identify areas for increasing efficiency and effectiveness and improve performance, policies, and programs.
- Monitor, control, and approve capital and non-capital expenditures and audit effectiveness.
- Strive to develop and maintain a strong company image committed to excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Develop quantified MBO plans for direct subordinates and ensure cascading throughout all levels.
- Maintain healthy relationships with strategic accounts, business partners, official entities, financial institutions, and government bodies.
Technical:
- Develop and implement e-commerce strategies aligned with company goals.
- Manage and optimize online sales channels, including websites, social media, and online marketplaces.
- Create and manage e-commerce budgets, including advertising and promotional spending.
- Analyze e-commerce data and metrics to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, SCM, branding, and product development teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across channels.
- Stay updated with e-commerce trends and innovations, making recommendations for improvements.
- Manage product listings, descriptions, and pricing on online platforms.
- Ensure regular updates to product information, images, and descriptions for accuracy and appeal.
- Plan and execute seasonal and promotional campaigns to boost sales and customer engagement.
- Analyze customer behavior and trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Monitor website functionality, troubleshoot platform issues, and enhance user experience.
- Coordinate with logistics and fulfillment teams for timely order processing and delivery.
- Collaborate with customer service teams to ensure high customer satisfaction and quick issue resolution.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors and platforms.
- Stay informed about the latest e-commerce and digital marketing trends and best practices.
A. Education
- College or university degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields; higher education such as an MBA is preferable.
B. Professional Experience
- 5 to 8 years of progressive management experience in related e-commerce roles.
- At least 5 years as an e-commerce executive within online retail markets.
- Proficiency in MS Office, feasibility studies, business planning, data analysis, web design, database management, marketing, SEO, SEM.
- Knowledge of financial statements and reports.
- Experience in strategic planning and execution.
- Understanding of accounting, budgeting, and financial controls.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Physical and mental fitness for the role.
C. Required Licenses/Certifications
- Technical training certificates/licenses.
- Google Analytics, SEO certifications.
- Knowledge of PPC campaigns.
D. Languages
- Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
- Proficiency in Arabic (reading, writing, speaking).
