POSITION:

LOCATION:

PURPOSE:

Production Supervisor – Operations is responsible to supervise the production in the facility, ensure that all processes are carried out in accordance with the policies on quality and safety, while meeting the goals/ target of production plan, customer satisfaction and budget targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


•Management of production/ manufacturing lines and ensure optimum productivity level at all times


•Achieve monthly target volumes and objectives, and meet SKU wise daily production plan


•Optimize line wastage and high quality, overheads


•Manage the production operation from raw material till product in packaging area, to ensure the full achievement of the target plan in an efficient way, safely and with high quality of all products


•Coordination with R&D, QA to ensure quality of product mix to match customer needs.


•Prepare and present inputs related to departmental/ project budgets (resource requirements) and manage / control overall financial performance of the Production function by monitoring actual cost against budgets


•Improve operations efficiency and productivity, including implementation of cost reduction programs


•Monitor line performance to ensure it meets expectations in relation to quality, productivity, efficiency, stock levels and cost efficiencies


•Ensure that all activities are monitored, and regulatory compliance audits and inspections are conducted for an effective implementation of regulatory standards


•Monitor the adherence to all relevant safety and environmental management procedures and controls to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude


•Ensure plant is maintained within Company GMP and 5 S standards


•Ensuring health and safety of product and team members throughout entire production process, in coordination with Quality Supervisor


•Coach, mentor and guide the team and help them realise their potential


•Conduct periodic performance reviews and provide developmental inputs as required

JOB REQUIREMENTS:


•5-6 years functional experience


•Knowledge of production activities (Water Manufacturing)


•Good understanding of maintenance activities


•Health & safety standards


•Quality control measures and standards
