Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Service & Sales Engineer with a strong mechanical background to join our team in Kuwait. This role involves providing technical support, maintenance, and sales of drilling equipment, including mud pumps and related components. The ideal candidate must be ready for a demanding field role that requires extensive travel within and outside Kuwait.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for drilling equipment, including mud pumps and related systems.
  2. Conduct on-site service visits, inspections, and repairs at drilling locations.
  3. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  4. Identify new business opportunities and drive sales of drilling equipment, spare parts, and service contracts.
  5. Prepare technical reports, proposals, and quotations for clients.
  6. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely service delivery and resolution of technical issues.
  7. Stay updated with industry trends, equipment advancements, and customer needs.
  8. Travel frequently within Kuwait and to other regional locations as required.

Requirements:

  1. Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in servicing and selling drilling equipment (e.g., mud pumps, top drives and rig components).
  3. Valid Kuwait driving license is a must.
  4. Current Kuwait visa is mandatory.
  5. Strong technical skills with hands-on experience in field service and maintenance.
  6. Ability to work long hours and stay in the field for extended periods.
  7. Willingness to travel frequently outside Kuwait for service and business development.
  8. Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  9. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience with BOMCO, HH, NOV, or other major drilling equipment brands.
  2. Knowledge of oilfield drilling operations and customer requirements.
  3. Prior experience working in Kuwait or the Gulf region.
