They undertake major Civil, Infrastructure and Power Projects which include Design, Engineering, Procurement, Installation, Commissioning, Operation and Maintenance of Power Stations, Pumping Stations, Oil and Gas Pipelines, Refineries, Desalination Plants, Major Housing Projects, Commercial Buildings, as turnkey EPC Contractor, Prime Contractor and Major Sub-Contractor.

Project: Azzour North Combined Cycle Power Plant

Requirements:

· Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering/B. Tech (Electrical)

· Minimum 7–10 years of experience in electrical design in GIS substations (GAS INSULATED SUBSTATIONS).

· Experience with GIS systems from leading OEMs (e.g., Siemens, ABB, GE).

· Previous work experience on Combined Cycle Power Plants is highly desirable.

· Familiar with ETAP, AutoCAD, EPLAN, and other electrical design software.

· Strong knowledge of IEC standards, IEEE, and GCC utility requirements.

· Experience with MEW Kuwait project design standards is an added advantage.

· Excellent coordination, documentation, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare and review detailed design and engineering documents for GIS substations (up to 400kV).

· Develop single line diagrams, schematics, protection & control layouts, and interface drawings.

· Coordinate with MEW (Ministry of Electricity and Water, Kuwait) for design submissions and approvals.

· Interface with civil, mechanical, and control & instrumentation teams for GIS integration.

· Ensure compliance with IEC standards and Kuwait electrical codes and regulations.

· Perform technical evaluations of vendor equipment and review submittals.

· Provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning phases.

· Participate in design review meetings, HAZOPs, and risk assessments.

· Interface with OEMs such as Siemens, ABB, Hitachi, or GE for GIS equipment specs and configurations.

· Generate as-built documentation and ensure proper handover to O&M teams.
