We are looking for a motivated and passionate Commis Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, particularly sandwiches and salads, and show enthusiasm for learning new culinary skills. This position is ideal for someone who wants to grow in a professional kitchen and be part of a creative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and assemble sandwiches, salads, and light menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
  • Assist chefs in basic food preparation tasks such as cutting, marinating, mixing, and plating.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in all kitchen and prep areas.
  • Ensure all ingredients are properly labeled, stored, and rotated according to food safety standards.
  • Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations and mise en place.
  • Follow hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards at all times.
  • Contribute to a positive and team-oriented kitchen culture.
  • Show willingness to learn new recipes, cooking techniques, and kitchen procedures

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or similar environment
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation, hygiene, and safety standards.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Good communication and time management skills.
  • Willingness to learn, grow, and take on new responsibilities.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time
