Ignitif Private Limited is seeking an experienced Test Manager with strong expertise in Finacle 11x Suite products and deep banking domain knowledge to lead the end-to-end testing lifecycle for a core banking transformation project in Kuwait. The role involves managing both on-site and offshore testing teams, ensuring quality delivery across all Finacle 11x modules, and collaborating closely with client stakeholders.

Role & responsibilities

  • Lead and manage testing for Finacle 11x implementations, customizations, and integrations.
  • Define and execute test strategy, test plan, and test scenarios for all Finacle modules.
  • Oversee test execution, defect triage, and UAT coordination with client and business teams.
  • Manage SIT, Regression Testing, and Automation Testing activities.
  • Collaborate with development, business, and integration teams to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with QA processes, standards, and reporting practices.
  • Manage a hybrid team setup 8 months on-site (Kuwait) and 4 months offshore (India).

Preferred candidate profile

  • 6+ years of experience in software testing within the banking domain.
  • Mandatory hands-on experience in Finacle 11x Suite products, including:

    • Corporate Assets & Liabilities

    • Corporate General & Branch Operations

    • Finance & GL

    • CDH (Customer Data Hub)

    • Trade Finance

    • Treasury

    • CLOS Channels & Interfaces

    • Limits and Collaterals
  • Strong understanding of Core Banking Systems, SIT, UAT, and Defect Management.
  • Experience with tools like Jira, HP ALM/Quality Centre, Selenium, Postman.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Proven experience in leading distributed QA teams (onsite-offshore model).

Good to Have

  • Experience with Automation Frameworks (Selenium, BDD, TestNG).
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery models.
  • ISTQB / PMP certification is an added advantage.
