Main Responsibilities- Operate transit mixer trucks to transport and deliver ready-mix concrete to designated locations.
- Ensure safe operation of the vehicle by following all traffic regulations and safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including time, location, and quantity of concrete delivered.
- Communicate with dispatchers and project managers to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues or concerns.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of the transit mixer truck, both inside and outside.
- Hold a valid heavy vehicle driving license and have a clean driving record.
- Demonstrate proven experience as a transit mixer driver or heavy vehicle driver in the construction industry.
- Familiarity with traffic regulations and safety guidelines is essential.
- Ability to read and understand delivery schedules and maps is necessary.
- Flexibility to work long and irregular hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
This position requires an individual who can work independently, follow instructions, and be flexible with their schedule.
