Job Title: Driller - Land Rig - Kuwait

As a key member of our drilling team, you will play a vital role in the success of our onshore/land rig drilling operations. We are seeking an experienced individual with a strong background in drilling operations, particularly in deep drilling, and the ability to operate 3000 HP drilling equipment efficiently with valid well control.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drilling Operations: Operate and oversee the drilling equipment, including draw works, mud pumps, and drilling systems, to ensure safe and efficient drilling operations.
  • Drilling Parameters: Monitor drilling parameters, make necessary adjustments, and troubleshoot issues to optimize drilling performance.
  • Safety Protocols: Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a strong focus on safety in all drilling activities.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the drilling team, including assistant drillers, derrick hands, and roughnecks, to ensure smooth and efficient rig operations.
  • Reporting and Maintenance: Complete daily drilling reports and maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and safety incidents.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that equipment is properly maintained and report any maintenance requirements promptly.
  • Training and Development: Assist in training and mentoring junior members of the drilling team.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Driller in the oil and gas industry with a specific focus on deep drilling operations.
  • Equipment Operation: Experience operating and maintaining 3000 HP drilling equipment.
  • Years of Experience: No less than 15 years of experience (local & overseas).
  • Safety Commitment: A strong commitment to safety and the ability to lead by example in this regard.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with the drilling team.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Mechanical aptitude and a good understanding of drilling equipment.
  • Remote Work: Willingness to work in a physically demanding and remote onshore environment.
Education and Certifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Well Control: Valid well control.
