Contracts Manager Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Contracts Manager to join our team in Kuwait. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in managing commercial and contractual aspects of projects.

Your primary objective will be to oversee the preparation of tender packages, ensuring adherence to client-approved terms and conditions. You will also be responsible for raising contract action requests, monitoring tender progress, and providing close support to clients throughout the pre-tender process.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Tender Package Preparation: Develop and submit high-quality tender packages that meet client requirements.
  • Contract Action Requests: Timely raise and execute contract actions as necessary.
  • Tender Progress Monitoring: Track and report on tender package progress to ensure timely completion.
  • Client Support: Provide comprehensive support to clients during pre-tender meetings, site visits, and tender evaluation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Educational Background: A full-time Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.
  • Certifications: Certification as a Contracts Manager from a reputable professional association is highly desirable.
  • Industry Experience: 5+ years of post-graduation experience in the oil & gas, refinery, or petrochemical industry.
  • Contracts Management: At least 10 years of experience in contracts management within an engineering company.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders.
