Job Overview

The Pass and ID Clerk will be responsible for managing installation access programs, operating the Defense Biometrics Identification System (DBIDS), and reviewing documents to ensure consistency. This position requires excellent computer skills, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Grant installation access badges to eligible individuals, including enrolling Locally Employed Persons (LEPs).
  • Receive and relay pertinent communications, ensuring timely responses to requests.
  • Review installation access applications in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Update access rosters to reflect authorized personnel and deny unauthorized individuals.
  • Manage and troubleshoot DBIDS equipment, ensuring optimal system performance.
Qualifications
  • Education/Certifications: A High School diploma is required; an AA or BA/BS Degree is preferred. One year of related experience may be substituted for one year of education if a degree is required.
  • Must be a US Citizen and at least 21 years old.
  • Hold a valid US Tourist Passport and current US Driver's License.
  • Meet United States Government (USG) security requirements and obtain a Secret Clearance.
  • Ability to obtain a host country driver's license.
Working Conditions
  • Work in extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Indoor and/or outdoor environment with adverse and harsh conditions, including industrial production environments.
Physical Requirements
  • Light work, exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or negligible amounts of force constantly to move objects.
  • May require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, and working with or in areas where physical, chemical, or biological agents may exist.
