Job Role

The Technical Support Manager at Nasco General Trading & Cont is responsible for delivering exceptional technical support and guidance to our employees, ensuring they have the necessary tools and expertise to succeed. This role requires a highly skilled IT professional with experience in network management and help desk support.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement effective IT policies and procedures that align with company goals and objectives.
  2. Provide expert advice on IT-related matters, including network infrastructure, hardware, and software.
  3. Deliver comprehensive training and support to employees, enabling them to effectively utilize technology.
  4. Serve as a liaison between end-users and higher-level support teams, ensuring prompt issue resolution and excellent service.
  5. Install, configure, and troubleshoot software and hardware, including printers, network cards, and other essential devices.
  6. Monitor system and network performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  7. Perform thorough troubleshooting, repairs, and data restoration, minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency.
  8. Prioritize performance maintenance activities, such as regular backups and updates.
  9. Collaborate with other professionals to uphold standards and ensure optimal functionality, driving innovation and excellence in IT services.
Requirements:

Candidate Profile:

  1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field from a reputable institution.
  2. Experience in network management and help desk support is a significant advantage.
  3. Deep knowledge of IT systems and applications, with a solid understanding of TCP/IP protocols and LAN/WAN configuration.
  4. Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair complex issues, demonstrating exceptional problem-solving skills.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  6. Great attention to detail, coupled with strong organizational and coordination abilities.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (365, Office) and other relevant tools.
