Key Responsibilities:- Implement policies and procedures while complying with company standards.
- Direct daily activities of the kitchen staff, aligning tasks with company policies and restaurant standards.
- Assign tasks and manage schedules according to business activity to ensure adequate staffing during peak times.
- Guide the kitchen team on new food items, proper preparation methods, and cost control.
- Ensure smooth food preparation processes during peak periods, delivering customer orders timely and maximizing satisfaction.
- Oversee menu item preparation, special requests, and assigned opening/closing duties.
- Coordinate between the kitchen team to avoid miscommunication and increase efficiency.
- Administer consistency in preparing food and non-food items according to recipes, portioning, cooking, and serving standards.
- Perform quality and presentation checks before serving items to customers.
- Conduct regular inventory checks for all food and non-food items, monitoring quantity and expiry dates.
- Ensure availability of food supplies based on current consumption and future requirements.
- Prior experience as a Pastry Sous Chef or similar role.
- Bachelor's degree in hotel management or culinary arts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in English language.
