Director Communications and Sustainability

SANAM, a regional alternative investment firm established in 1982 and listed in Boursa Kuwait in 2004, is committed to adopting responsible investing practices. To further its growth strategy, the firm seeks a Director of Communications and Sustainability to drive its transformational plan.

Key responsibilities include developing a cohesive communications strategy, projecting a positive company image to the public, and developing and executing ESG strategies. The Communications Director's role encompasses managing public perception, which incorporates developing marketing and communication strategies as well as understanding the importance of timing in setting messages.

Core responsibilities include:
  • Establishing and driving a multi-channel communications strategy
  • Developing sustainability strategies to improve environmental and social performance
  • Preparing and managing all communications materials
  • Managing media relations
  • Developing a brand voice and maintaining brand integrity across all platforms
The successful candidate will have experience in stakeholder engagement, demonstrated knowledge of communications technologies, and impeccable copywriting and editing abilities. A Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or a related discipline is preferred.
