V2X Inc is looking for a qualified and dedicated individual to fill the role of Wildland Firefighter. As a critical member of our team, you will be responsible for preventing and responding to wildfires, operating complex equipment, and maintaining a high level of physical fitness. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of wildland firefighting techniques, safety protocols, and emergency response procedures. They will be responsible for participating in regular training exercises and drills to maintain proficiency, as well as assisting in rescue operations and preserving evidence at crime scenes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prevent and respond to wildfires in rural and wilderness areas
  • Operate complex equipment, including bulldozers and helicopters
  • Assist in rescue operations, including searching for missing persons

Essential Qualifications:

  • Certified wildland firefighter with at least one year of experience
  • Valid driver's license and passport
  • Fluency in English language
  • Ability to pass annual health exam and SCBA fit testing
