Job Summary: Top Notch Consultancy is seeking a seasoned Retail Business Systems Analyst to lead the implementation and optimization of Odoo 16/17 systems in the FMCG industry.

About the Role: As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing business processes, designing solutions, and configuring Odoo systems to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability. Your expertise in retail operations, including POS, procurement, inventory, recipe management, pricing and promotions, and e-commerce, will drive business growth and success.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and document business processes related to retail operations, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and objectives, ensuring seamless communication between business units and IT.
  • Implement, configure, and maintain Odoo 16/17 business, financial, and marketing modules, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Provide training and support to staff on the use of Odoo systems, promoting user adoption and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with IT to manage system upgrades, patches, and maintenance tasks, minimizing downtime and ensuring optimal performance.
  • Monitor system usability and gather feedback from users to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Requirements: To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Business Analysis, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience (typically 3-5 years) in the Retail industry, with at least 1-2 years in senior roles.
  • Knowledge about various Odoo options and best practices for maintenance and enhancements.
  • Experience in Odoo 16/17 is highly desirable.
  • Certifications in business analysis (IIBA, IREB, ISCB, or PMI) are an asset.
  • Odoo certification is also advantageous.
  • Proficiency in English is required; Arabic language is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • An analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
