Well Construction Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Well Construction Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of cementing equipment on work locations.
Key Responsibilities:- Rig up and rig down cementing service equipment on work locations, including spotting of cement storage vessels and pre-mixing of spacer fluids.
- Identify additives to be mixed on-the-fly and rigging-up appropriate data monitoring equipment.
- Plan emergency backup equipment and contingencies.
- Perform pre-job calculations related to pipe capacities, volume/height math, plug landing pressures, absolute volumes, hydrostatic and differential pressure, resulting forces, balanced plugs, bulk cement blending, and pressure to reverse.
- Complete documents, reports, and forms related to the cementing service performed.
- High school diploma or similar education and at least 6 months of experience as an Operator Asst-Cementing, II.
- Licensure to drive commercial equipment may be required.
- I-Learn courses: General Hydraulics for Downhole Tools and Essential Preventative Maintenance.
- Effective communication skills.
