Job Description
- Responsible for the planning and construction management of the infrastructure, systems, and facilities airside mechanical systems, (includes overseeing the construction of aprons, terminals, hangers, lighting systems, navigational aids, GPUs, wet systems, Pre-Conditioned Air systems, and other airport facilities).
- Review various technical submittals relevant to the airside mechanical systems designs including design documents, shop drawings, material submissions, etc. to ensure compliance with the specifications and design intent.
- Actively coordinate with all support engineers and initiate any required actions relevant within the boundaries of the scope and responsibility, ensuring the overall team performance.
- Effectively control construction progress in accordance with approved schedules.
- Knowledge of applicable quality standards, health & safety regulations, codes, environmental regulations and other requirements related to the construction of airports.
- Effectively manage cost and time constraints, coordinate with other departments, and supervise contractors.
- Generate internal and external reports related to project status, summarizing construction activity progress for higher-level management and clients, develop plans to address potential issues, and acquire permits and licenses.

- Familiarity with engineering software and principles.
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision under pressure.
Qualifications & Experience
- MTech / BTech degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
- A minimum of 12 years' relevant working experience, of which specific working experience in a similar role as Airport Systems Engineer on an Airport Construction Project.
- Experience in leading and guiding supervision teams on site relevant to your scope.
- Experience in interacting and guiding the Contractor and Subcontractor representatives to resolve technical issues, as well as interacting with Client.
