**Cost Analyst - Inventory Management**

This role plays a vital part in supporting the Operations team and Finance department by analyzing inventory and cost data. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing insights and recommendations to improve performance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Establishing key analysis and reports to measure inventory-related KPIs, such as food cost reports, consumption variance reports, staff meal reports, discounts reports, and wastage reports.
  • Carrying out analysis based on system reports and providing feedback to management on areas of concern.
  • Identifying cost and margin issues through menu engineering analysis and reporting cost-saving/margin-making options to management.
  • Preparing variance analysis for food and beverage and communicating with relevant parties.
  • Analyzing and illustrating results and trends that impact restaurant performance.
  • Identifying anomalies in inventory and costs and raising questions and clarifications with Operations.
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring recipe costing and system recipe management updates are up-to-date.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, be proficient in Excel, and possess excellent communication skills.
  • They must be able to work independently as well as contribute as a team member.
  • A high level of attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality are essential qualities for success in this role.
