Role OverviewThis full-time on-site position as a Child Psychiatrist in the Kuwait City Metropolitan Area involves providing comprehensive psychiatric assessments, developing treatment plans, prescribing medications, and offering therapy to children and adolescents.
The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with other healthcare professionals and families to ensure the holistic well-being of patients. This includes working effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
To excel in this role, you will require strong communication and interpersonal skills, empathy, and compassion in patient care. A board certification in Psychiatry and/or Child Psychiatry is essential, along with fluency in Arabic being a plus.
- Prior experience in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
- Understanding of Mental Health practices and principles
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy and compassion in patient care
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Board certification in Psychiatry and/or Child Psychiatry
- Fluency in Arabic is a desirable skill
