The Role

We are seeking an experienced LBS Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive electronics and a proven track record of troubleshooting and maintaining complex vehicle systems.

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

1. Analyze and diagnose faults in vehicle electrical and electronic systems, including GPS tracking units and other advanced technologies.
2. Conduct thorough investigations and tests to identify the root cause of problems and implement effective solutions.
3. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement new diagnostic procedures and protocols.
4. Provide expert guidance and training to junior technicians and engineers.
5. Maintain accurate records of work completed and participate in quality control processes.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

1. A degree or diploma in Automotive Engineering or a related field.
2. At least 4-6 years of experience in troubleshooting and maintaining vehicle electrical and electronic systems.
3. Strong knowledge of diagnostic protocols and tools.
4. Excellent understanding of electrical components, including relays, connectors, and harnesses.
5. Familiarity with In-Vehicle GPS units and other advanced technologies.
6. Intermediate to high-level understanding of networking, hardware, software, and protocols.
