Main Responsibilities

  • Equipment management: Oversee the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment such as centralized heat, gas, water, and steam systems.
  • Facilities management: Manage the planning and design of new construction, renovations, and improvement projects for real property facilities.
  • Project execution: Oversee the execution of projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
  • Quality control: Ensure that all work is performed to the highest quality standards, meeting the company's safety and environmental policies.
  • Collaboration and communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including construction managers, engineers, and architects to ensure successful project execution.

Requirements

  • Education: Mechanical Engineering degree required; licensed mechanical engineer preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of four (4) years of design experience, capable of providing mechanical design service including determination of HVAC loads, equipment selection, duct sizing and routing, interior plumbing design, and exterior plumbing design.
  • Software skills: Proficient in AutoCAD 2012 or later.
  • Certifications and clearances: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance; note US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.
