The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all project requirements are strictly followed by the shop, and will work closely with the supervisor to establish new procedures and methods where needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure every project requirement is strictly followed by the shop.
  • Follow the job ITP/QP requirements.
  • Establish new procedures and methods where needed and get approval.
  • Suggest or develop new and better fixtures.
  • Thorough knowledge of engineering structural drawings and erection drawings produced on Auto CAD and BOCAD.
  • Perform inspections wherever needed or as directed by the supervisor, including subcontractors.
  • Capable of reporting, issuing, and closing nonconformance reports.
  • Knowledge of MBMA and AISC tolerances.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience in a similar type of industry and fabrication-inspection.
  • Diploma in any discipline or BSc in Chemistry.
