Director of Food Operations

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced leader to join our team as a Director of Food Operations.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to lead our food operations team, responsible for overseeing all aspects of food and beverage services, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and improve operational efficiency.

  • Liaise with clients to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring that we deliver exceptional service and exceed their expectations.

  • Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and hygiene in all areas of the hotel, including food preparation, presentation, and service.

  • Manage and develop a team of experienced chefs and culinary staff, providing coaching and training to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.

  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

  • Collaborate with other departments, such as events and marketing, to develop and implement new initiatives and promotions.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, sharing knowledge and expertise with colleagues and contributing to ongoing professional development.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality or food service industry.

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, colleagues, and external partners.

  • Proven track record of driving business growth and delivering exceptional results.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

  • High level of creativity and innovation, with the ability to think outside the box and develop new ideas and solutions.
