Job Overview

The Continuity Planning Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the continuity of our business operations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in business continuity planning and will be responsible for developing and implementing plans that align with industry standards.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain business continuity plans that meet ISO22301 and BCI Good Practice Guide standards.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and threat analyses to identify potential disruptions to our business operations.
  • Design and implement training programs for staff to ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities in business continuity planning.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to develop and implement disaster recovery plans for our IT systems.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations to senior management on business continuity best practices and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or engineering or business related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in business continuity planning, including experience in IT disaster recovery planning and exercises.
  • Certifications in BCI Good Practice Guide and ISO22301 Lead Implementer/Auditor preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
