Ambassador of Academic Excellence for the upcoming School Year

Main Responsibilities and Qualifications:

  1. Hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, complemented by a Master's degree or teaching certification.
  2. Possess at least 10 years of teaching experience and at least 2 years as a Vice Principal.
  3. Obtain professional approval from the Ministry for the role of Vice Principal.
  4. Demonstrate fluency in English and possess excellent technology skills.

Main Duties:

  1. The ideal candidate will wholeheartedly adopt the school's mission, philosophy, system, and educational approach, ensuring seamless implementation throughout their tenure.
  2. Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills, along with enthusiasm, for effective interactions with students, faculty members, administrators, parents, and the broader school community.
  3. In the absence of the Principal, the successful candidate will assume responsibility for covering the Principal's duties.
  4. Closely supervise safe student attendance and safety measures implemented within the school.
  5. Contribute to the student discipline plan, enforce its consequences, and encourage positive student behavior.
  6. Misbehaving students referred by the social counselor will be dealt with accordingly, with disciplinary consequences applied, and parents informed of corrective measures taken.
  7. Closely monitor and oversee the organization of after-school remedial classes.
  8. Safeguard the admission process for new students.
  9. Regularly inspect classrooms, playgrounds, and student transitions to ensure a safe and organized environment.
  10. Ensure effective planning, organization, and supervision of school activities.
  11. Supervise division staff and provide guidance to ensure exceptional performance.
  12. Support and explain safety and security initiatives to teachers, students, and staff.
  13. Handle academic tasks efficiently and effectively.
  14. Meticulously prepare and supervise school plans, including class schedules, teacher duty schedules, substitution schedules, and committee formations.
  15. Maintain order and student discipline regarding school uniforms.
  16. Foster the professional development of staff through identifying needs and suggesting suitable programs.
  17. Regularly review, update, and communicate emergency plans to faculty members based on school requirements.
