Main Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, complemented by a Master's degree or teaching certification.
- Possess at least 10 years of teaching experience and at least 2 years as a Vice Principal.
- Obtain professional approval from the Ministry for the role of Vice Principal.
- Demonstrate fluency in English and possess excellent technology skills.
Main Duties:
- The ideal candidate will wholeheartedly adopt the school's mission, philosophy, system, and educational approach, ensuring seamless implementation throughout their tenure.
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills, along with enthusiasm, for effective interactions with students, faculty members, administrators, parents, and the broader school community.
- In the absence of the Principal, the successful candidate will assume responsibility for covering the Principal's duties.
- Closely supervise safe student attendance and safety measures implemented within the school.
- Contribute to the student discipline plan, enforce its consequences, and encourage positive student behavior.
- Misbehaving students referred by the social counselor will be dealt with accordingly, with disciplinary consequences applied, and parents informed of corrective measures taken.
- Closely monitor and oversee the organization of after-school remedial classes.
- Safeguard the admission process for new students.
- Regularly inspect classrooms, playgrounds, and student transitions to ensure a safe and organized environment.
- Ensure effective planning, organization, and supervision of school activities.
- Supervise division staff and provide guidance to ensure exceptional performance.
- Support and explain safety and security initiatives to teachers, students, and staff.
- Handle academic tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Meticulously prepare and supervise school plans, including class schedules, teacher duty schedules, substitution schedules, and committee formations.
- Maintain order and student discipline regarding school uniforms.
- Foster the professional development of staff through identifying needs and suggesting suitable programs.
- Regularly review, update, and communicate emergency plans to faculty members based on school requirements.
