Aircraft Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces, and controls.

• Remove and install aircraft subsystem assemblies and components such as engines, rotors, transmissions, mechanical flight controls, and their components.
• Service and lubricate aircraft and subsystems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
• Safely prepare aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
• Perform scheduled inspections and assist in performing special inspections, identifying potential issues before they become major problems.
• Demonstrate comprehensive technical expertise to diagnose and troubleshoot complex aircraft systems using specialized tools and equipment.

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of two years of experience working on the CH-47 (MDS) within the last six years or hold a valid FAA A&P license.
• Familiarity with aircraft sheet metal/structural modifications and repair is essential.
• Ability to prioritize workloads to maintain schedules on assigned projects and meet deadlines.
