  • Security Compliance & Standards: Ensuring adherence to industry standards such as ISO 27001, BS 22301, NIST and banking security policies to maintain the highest level of security and compliance.
  • IT Audits: Participating in IT audits, risk assessments and regulatory compliance checks to ensure the organization's security posture is robust and compliant with regulations.
  • Incident Response: Leading the security incident identification, containment and eradication process to minimize the impact of security breaches.
  • Business Continuity: Developing and enforcing IT disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity (BCP) plans to ensure minimal disruption in the event of a security breach or system failure.
  • Cybersecurity Strategy: Advising management on emerging threats, security trends and mitigation strategies to stay ahead of the ever-evolving cyber threat landscape.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Technical Skills: Must have 15+ years in IT, with 10-12+ years in cybersecurity (banking/financial sector). Proficiency in SIEM, firewalls, IPS/IDS, EDR, DLP, VPN and vulnerability management.
  • Expertise: Expertise in threat intelligence, incident response and network traffic analysis. Hands-on experience in developing and implementing effective security controls and measures.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of security frameworks, regulations and industry standards. Proven track record of successfully implementing security initiatives and improving overall security posture.
  • Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCIE Security (mandatory). Additional certifications in threat intelligence, incident response and security architecture highly desirable.
