Job Description

Gulf Cryo seeks an accomplished Accountant to lead its financial operations, providing expertise in accounting activities and ensuring the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date company finances. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and negotiation skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to make sound decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain general ledger accounts and control accounting transactions according to IFRS standards.
  • Assist Senior Accountant/Chief Accountant/Credit Controller in quarterly forecasting, annual budget, monthly management reporting, and annual audit processes.
  • Perform day-to-day processing of account transactions to ensure effective, up-to-date, and accurate company finances.
  • Process and record AP transactions, including invoices and staff reimbursements, accurately and in accordance with finance policies and procedures.
  • Manage cash receipts, revenue, and receivable processing, and work closely with the team to reconcile revenues and receivables with Salesforce data.
  • Review expense coding for compliance on a monthly basis and process functional and benefits expenses allocations.
  • Complete monthly closing within specified timeframes for AR, AP, and FA modules and maintain regular customers and suppliers balance reconciliation.
  • Process invoices, debit memos, and post cash receipts, discounts, allowances, price differences, returns, and other chargebacks to customer accounts timely and accurately.
  • Maintain thorough and well-organized accounts receivable customer files by scanning documents and sorting by customer.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures at all times.

  • Expertise in handling accounting activities by implementing the latest management and cost reduction trends.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills in partnership management and inter-department coordination.
  • Able to handle relevant software like Microsoft Dynamics for efficient preparation of reports and statements.
