Job Description

AlMailem Group is seeking a highly skilled Internal Audit Assistant to join our team. As an Internal Audit Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of our internal controls and processes.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning and executing internal audits based on established audit programs.
  • Prepare audit work papers and documentation to support findings and recommendations.
  • Assist in the development of audit reports and presentations for management.
  • Follow up on audit recommendations to ensure timely implementation and resolution.
  • Carry out full audits and assess risk, taking necessary risk management steps to predict fraud.
  • Prepare and present reports that clearly reflect the audit results.
  • Obtain, analyze, and evaluate accounting documentation, reports, and data.
  • Study and inspect budgets, balance sheets, and other related financial records and statements.
  • Check and verify if accounting books and records align with best practices and corporate guidelines.
  • Update departments on audit findings and how to improve the audit process.
  • May be required to work extended hours during audit periods to meet deadlines.
  • Analyze audit reports to find ways the organization can increase profits and reduce losses.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor staff on audit processes and assess their performance.
  • Conduct risk assessments and prepare risk registers for the organization.
  • Evaluate the internal control of the organization.
  • Test controls and procedures to identify weaknesses and areas for improvement.


Requirements

* Degree in B Com/BBA – with specialization in Finance/Accounting/Auditing.
* Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Auditing.
* Knowledge of auditing processes.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Fluency in Hindi Language.
* Possess advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and other accounting software.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and good critical thinking.
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
* Proven teamwork and ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds.
* Excellent organizational, presentation, and reporting skills.
* Should be dynamic, self-motivated, and possess strong analytical skills.
* Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality.
* Possess high level of professionalism, integrity, and truthfulness in all dealings.
