**Job Overview**

We are seeking an experienced Locksmith and Structural Technician to join our team. This individual will be responsible for installing, repairing, modifying, and opening various locking mechanisms found on doors, desks, compartments, mobile equipment, safes, and vaults. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of locksmithing principles and have excellent problem-solving skills.

**Key Responsibilities**

The Locksmith and Structural Technician will perform the following tasks:

  • Installs, repairs, modifies, and opens a variety of locking mechanisms.
  • Maintains key and lock logs for buildings, containers, and equipment.
  • Performs preventative carpentry maintenance and repairs.
  • Fabricates, installs, and repairs wooden doors, floors, walls, ceilings, exterior structures, windows, cabinets, shelves, handrails, bulletin boards, and other hardware associated with buildings and structures.

**Requirements**

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED and one (1) year additional education and/or experience.
  • Must be fluent in reading and speaking English.
  • U.S. Citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance.
  • GSA Certified Safe and Vault Technician certification.
  • Able to work cooperatively with others in a work environment.

**Estimated Salary:** $62,000 - $82,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
